This project started out of a personal interest of Manuel Gaubatz due to the recent passing of one of his best friends - his grandmother. The hardest part of being old is the feeling of not being able to help the loneliness you feel as a person over 70 when almost all of your friends passed away. In " the book I will never write" we show how  elderly people feel in these times of forced isolation during the Lockdowns of Corona. Manuel conducted various interviews with people over 70 in an elderly home and created a performance piece out of it. 

In the end it got to be way more than just asking the question "how did you feel during these corona times" but got to show us a more general problem of loneliness and helplessness that the elderly are in. 

Their stories made us reflect about our own lives. How important some things seem to us now, but we probably wont even remember in one year. And how little some things feel but how precious they will show to have been when we are older. 

Frau Fröhling, our narrator, is 97 years old. She told us that she wanted to write a book that was called "The learnings between 90 and 100 years of age" which she now will never write anymore. Her views on life and her learnings that she reveals in the end touched us deeply and made us want to help her publish at least one chapter out of the book that she will never write. This is it. Maybe we should take more time out of our day to listen to the stories of elderly people, as we could learn something for ourselves and in the end help ease the loneliness in their lives.

Jelena Markovic and Manuel Gaubatz are interpreting a moving story about a depressive Teenager who started to violate herself throughout her insecurities in the society. 

How can bullying and violation in the childhood lead to the fear of loosing people you love and cause depression and borderline disease. This film is an experimental film which includes movements and acting which are combined to show the individual results of this mental health disease. In this film Manuel Gaubatz is opening the door to the childs room of his sister when she was sick in her early years. A diary of her is the foundation of this film.
